On 27th October last year, Kiwanis Club of Bandar Sunway, successfully organized its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament. With the proceed of this event, GOLD managed to embark on a project to set up a Supported / Shelter Employment program at 3C, for the Alumni of kelas khas. A full time staff has been employed to manage the planned vocational rehabilitation service. Facilities has been added to the center and even the trainees or the clients of this program are being paid nominal monthly salary.
Kiwanis Club of Bandar Sunway, which has kindly taken the responsibility to continuously support GOLD as its community project, will be organizing the 2nd Charity Golf Tournament on 28th October 2011 at Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort. We will like to appeal for the generous contributions / sponsorships from individuals and corporates bodies. The appeal letter and Golf Registration form can be downloaded here.
The proceed of this charity event, with the generous contributions of all the well wishers, will provide not only towards the continuity and sustainability of our program at 3C, but also to provide for salaries of another full time staff and addition intake of trainees.
